We survived the first month!

Well, we made it! Cora is one month old and we successfully navigated our first month as parents to a toddler AND a newborn. Eva is adjusting though she still lets us know when "That baby is in the way." Cora is really getting alert and active. She started giving her first true social smiles and gave a really big one to Leslie yesterday.

Here is Eva showing off her architectural skills. This is one theme she often revisits when building--pairs of blocks with one on the floor as a base and the other standing up on top. She's been doing this design for months now.

Here we are with our playgroup visiting the fire station. So many of us have had our 2nd child (or will very soon) and this picture really amazed all of us with how large our group has gotten. Some of us have been in the same playgroup since our firstborn were infants. It is a really special group of women and I don't know what I'd do without them.

Face time with Cora.

Nap time (notice the dog as pillow getting in on the nap action).

Cora checking out her crazy sister.

Cute pictures. Way to keep your word and keep your blog current! Love the fire station picture. Those guys must have been ready to take off in the fire engine seeing that huge group approaching!
